Peoria Irish Fest would not be possible without the many volunteers who offer their time and talents to promote Irish culture, music, dance, and athletic games to our events in Central Illinois.
Many of our volunteers return year after year, some signing up whole families or groups. Many long- time volunteers have moved up to leadership positions in our organization.
Krista & Cheri have spent the summer working together to contact past volunteers and recruit new faces to keep things running smoothly! Long-time volunteers always remember Cheri’s smile as the first thing they see when checking in for their shift. It has often been said that these two have one of the most challenging jobs with the festival coordinating and training hundreds of volunteers and finding a spot that makes everyone happy!
In exchange for working a three hour shift, all volunteers receive free admission on the day[s] they work, two complimentary beverage tickets, and a free volunteer t-shirt (shirt to be picked up before the Fest. – make sure you have your correct size selected in your registration) and the opportunity to meet new friends, reunite with familiar faces, and create long lasting friendships and memories.
Does this sound like fun? We’d love to have you on board. Be sure to let us know if you have any special talents you’d like to share.
